Our Story

Welcome to Meat and Sweet Foods!

We are located at 23 East Main St, Gloucester, MA

On Saturdays only, from 10am-3pm, we offer award winning BBQ and Sweet Treats.

Meats including hardwood smoked ribs, boneless skinless chicken thighs, pulled pork, & chopped brisket. Winter specials include smoked Chilean sea bass, whiting and other local fish, as well as bacon and pastrami.

We also offer all homemade sides including cole slaw, pit beans, Mac and cheese, cornbread and our newest offering of “Gretchen’s Greens”, a combo of collards and dandelion greens, and smoked meat.

Sweets include amazing handmade desserts from our in-house commercial bakery – which is also open by appoint all week long – Pies, salted caramel double chocolate brownies, WOW cookies, loafs (pumpkin, chocolate, banana), and filled and frosted cupcakes are always available
